What has changed

A dated record of new tools, fixes and corrections. If a number or explanation on the site was wrong and has been fixed, it is listed here. Spotted something? Tell us on the Contact page.

In-depth guides, merged pages and this changelog

  • Added in-depth write-ups to sixteen tools and the two new combined pages. Each explains the formula, shows a worked example, and says what the tool does not cover.
  • Combined the WebP to PNG, JPG to PNG and PNG to JPG pages into one Image Converter with a format switch. The old addresses redirect to it.
  • Combined Pickr Spinner and Pickr Slots into one Random Picker with a Wheel and Slots switch. The old addresses redirect to it, and your saved list carries over.
  • Corrected Pickr Slots: it described itself as picking a random winner, but each reel stopped independently and you only won if all three matched. All three reels now land on the one entry that was picked.
  • Added this changelog and expanded the About page with how the tools are chosen and checked.
  • Asked search engines not to list fifteen simple utilities until they have a full guide. The tools themselves still work as before.

Image converters and a livelier homepage

  • Added WebP to PNG, JPG to PNG and PNG to JPG converters. Files are converted in your browser and never uploaded.
  • The homepage phone illustration now rotates through the tools.

EV Charging Cost and a simpler homepage

  • Added the EV Charging Cost tool, with home, fast-charge and subscription comparison and shareable result links.
  • Fixed typing numbers quickly in EV Charging Cost, which could drop digits.
  • Redesigned the homepage so first-time visitors can see what each tool does.

Secret Santa, Christmas Countdown and accuracy fixes

  • Added Secret Santa: a private name draw with exclusions, budget and exchange date, and no accounts.
  • Added the Christmas Countdown, with Advent Sundays and shareable custom countdowns.
  • Fixed a blank page that some returning visitors saw when opening a newly added tool.
  • Corrected wording that over-promised on several tools (Pregnancy Calculator, QR Generator, PDF Toolkit, PawPortions and Pickr) so each description matches what the tool does.
  • Made the Scorecard visible to search engines and fixed its FAQ.

PawPortions improvements

  • PawPortions can now read the calorie figure from a food label using your phone camera. The image is processed on your device.
  • Added support for several pets, a first-visit welcome screen, and a clearer explanation of how portions are calculated.
  • Fixed phone layouts where the Today screen, Pregnancy Calculator and Workout Log were squeezed by the FAQ.

Content and title audit

  • Fixed FAQs that were hidden after the page loaded and corrected page titles that did not match what the tool does.

Scorecard

  • Added Scorecard, a score tracker for board and card games, and a Play category.

Page content and a spinner fix

  • Added explainer and FAQ text to the tool pages, plus per-page titles, descriptions and a machine-readable site summary.
  • Fixed the Pickr spinner so the winner shown matches the segment under the pointer.

Workout Log, Pickr and Contact

  • Added the Workout Log, a private workout tracker that stores data on your device.
  • Added Pickr Spinner and Pickr Slots, two random pickers.
  • Added a Contact page.

Ads and branding

  • Added the site logo and ads.txt, and set up Google AdSense.

Launch

  • Pocket Multitool went live with its first set of calculators and utilities.
